Mr Eric Vreugde a metallurgist by profession born and educated in the Netherlands is the founder of Metserve International a metallurgical consultancy who conduct failure analysis and provide material related solutions to national and international clients since 1980.

His services focus on the power, refining, pulp and paper industries as well as for the insurance and legal communities.

Mr. Vreugde has published several international papers related to failure investigations and has been a speaker at several national and international professional conferences.

Mr Roland Miché, has over 30 years experience in the pressurized equipment industry; in the employ of a User, Manufacturer and Authorized Inspection Authorities.

During his involvement in providing Authorized Inspection Authority and engineering support services to the Chemical, Power Generation and Pulp and Paper industries, Roland identified a deficiency in the practical training of Plant Engineers in the field of Pressurized Equipment Technology.
